With only that set to native osu! now launched constantly on my M1 Mac Mini. Seeing that some users are not able to launch consistently, I noticed the issue with a wrapper I quickly thrown together this only seems to happen when having multiple native overrides set as all that's required is mscoree for. Gcenx I see that the provided wrapper is using WS11WineCX20.0.0/WS11WineCX64Bit20.0.0 those builds were not optimized for running under Rosetta2 contact me directly for optimized Engine(s).Īlso see your providing an app that's setting some options externally, one thing to keep disabled is the GPU Detection as it has issues with Apple Silicon devices possibly also T1/T2 systems. Hi TechnoCoder, here are the logs from the Test Run Can you elaborate on what's not working? Are you able to open it and/or do you get any crash reports? Any help would be great!Sorry yeah, it looks like Big Sur is a little bit hit or miss at the moment. TheNamesTen wrote:Not quite sure what to do from here. Is there a way to fix this?Ĭan you please try running a Test Run from Wineskin (Right click osu! > Show Package Contents > Wineskin > Advanced > Test Run) and paste the logs somewhere (such as: ) when it crashes? The only way to fix this so far for me is to completely redownload osu! everytime I want to play it, which is a huge pain. ![]() I have tried using the Osu mac agent to repair but it does not seem to fix it. I checked activity monitor while trying to open it, and it seems like it is trying to open up with the wineskin but it just stops and disappears from activity monitor. However, after I close it after playing for ONE session, when I try to open it up it does not open. After installing osu with these steps on Catalina 10.15.7, I am able to run it perfectly. So far so good! Just be weary when setting resolutions from the launcher, some settings will crash the game if you go too large. It should be noted I have only been running PSO with this set up for the last 4 days now, so I am still testing it and seeing how it holds up. Also any questions anyone may have I will try my best to help. I tried to make it as straight forward as possible and hopefully easier to understand.įeedback on the guide is always welcome as I am sure I can improve it as needed. The PDF guide I compiled is sourced from the tutorial I used as well as my own input to make it more user friendly for people who are not comfortable with Terminal or for people who find the source material confusing. The source tutorial itself is easy enough to understand and is pretty straight forward if you are familiar with navigating around your Mac via Terminal with command lines. The only quirk is a shader isn't loading proper but it is not game breaking, you can still see all the textures and lighting fine. ![]() I found a tutorial online about running Windows programs on OS X with Wine and Homebrew, gave it a try and I have been happily playing on the Ephinea server crash/lag free. Hello all! I have some good news for Mac OS X users who want to play PSOBB.
